The light blue surrounding the central floral array cleverly shades darker to finally become the predominant navy. The ground is densely covered with leaves, viners and spiky flower heads, with a few middle blue bats innocuously fluttering. The light blue border has giant versions of the field flowers and flowing arabesques. This is a Peking (Beijing) carpet from the 1920’s in excellent condition.
